Blasting Operations Supervisor - Mining

Description: Hire Resolve's Client is currently looking for a Blasting Operations Supervisor to join their mining company based in the Northern Cape. Responsibilities: Ensure safe coordination and execution of blasting operations in line with planned specifications Organize and allocate shift resources to support accurate and timely blasting activitie Oversee daily operations and provide hands-on supervision during blasting shift Manage contractors on-site to ensure quality, safety, and performance standards are met Monitor and control operational budgets, focusing on cost-effective practices Lead, guide, and develop team members to drive performance and accountability Promote continuous improvement by identifying and implementing process enhancements Maintain strict compliance with SHERQ standards and legal safety requirements Requirements: Grade 12 Blasting Certificate in Opencast/Surface Mining Supervisory Certificate National Diploma in Mining Engineers (Recommended) Mine Overseer's Certificate of Competency (Recommended) Valid Driver's License Benefits: Salary: Negotiable Paid Time Off (PTO) (If Applicable) Contact Hire Resolve for your next career-changing move.
