Job Description

Financial Strategy & Reporting: Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting in compliance with IFRS. Prepare consolidated financial statements, ensuring accuracy and timely submissions. Budgeting, Forecasting & Analysis: Lead the budgeting and forecasting process across multiple hospitality and property entities. Provide financial insights to support decision-making on new developments, acquisitions, and renovations. Cash Flow & Treasury: Manage group cash flow, working capital, and banking relationships. Oversee treasury functions including forex management and intercompany funding. Compliance & Audit: Ensure compliance with tax, legal and statutory requirements across all jurisdictions. Team Leadership & Development: Manage and mentor a finance team including accountants and clerks. Promote best practices, systems enhancements, and strong internal controls. CA(SA) qualification essential. Minimum 5 years post-articles experience, ideally in property investment and/or hospitality sectors. Strong understanding of IFRS, tax legislation, and hospitality-related revenue models. Experience with financial consolidation across multiple entities and currencies. Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills. Proficiency in financial systems (Pastel, Xero, or ERP systems) and advanced Excel.
