Job Description
Minimum requirements for the role: Must have a relevant Accountancy qualification Proven experience in bookkeeping and managing AP/AR functions Part qualified or newly qualified with a recognised accountancy body is essential Solid accounting knowledge and skills High attention to detail and accuracy Excellent verbal and written communication skills across all organisational levels Proven ability to manage workload effectively and meet deadlines Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and environments Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with Xero is advantageous Self-motivated, organised, and able to work independently Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills and respect for others Proactive mindset with a strong sense of initiative and commitment Embraces change and actively seeks opportunities for continuous improvement The successful candidate will be responsible for: Performing daily bookkeeping for designated entities. Managing finance inboxes. Maintaining the accounts payable ledger. Supporting the group credit controller in managing accounts receivable. Issuing client invoices via Xero. Ensuring weekly timesheet completion by staff, updating the practice management system, and generating related reports. Conducting daily and weekly bank reconciliations. Reconciling client accounts. Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts. Supporting ad-hoc data collection and reporting projects. Maintaining confidentiality of all financial and sensitive information. Operating in line with the companys values and competency framework.
