About the Role We are seeking a Principal Mechanical Engineer - Waste to Energy to join our Power & Energy Team in Singapore. You will be responsible for project stages including feasibility studies, design, energy calculations, due diligence, site assessment, and technical consultation. Responsibilities Lead the Mechanical/Process team, engineers, and drafters. Design and analyze mechanical systems and equipment such as turbines, compressors, pumps, and heat exchangers. Perform engineering calculations and simulations to ensure structural integrity and performance. Produce layout plans, equipment details, and coordinate with clients and vendors. Develop design basis reports, specifications, and technical documentation. Collaborate with electrical and control teams, and support operations and maintenance teams. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. Minimum 10 years of experience in mechanical process engineering within biomass and biofuels industries. Proficiency in engineering software like SteamPro, AutoCAD. Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles, standards, and best practices. Excellent problem-solving and team collaboration skills.
