PURCHASING SPECIALIST - STRATEGIC PROGRAMS AND PROJECTS Company Description Our client is a major company part of an international group operating in the automation sector. For their headquarters located in the Eporediese area, we are looking for the following figure: Position Purchasing Specialist - Strategic Programs and Projects The new hire will report directly to the Purchasing Group Director and will play a key role focusing on strategic purchasing activities for assigned programs and projects. Main Responsibilities Program Coordination: Coordinate all procurement activities for strategic programs and projects in collaboration with the respective Executive Director, particularly in Mechanical, Electronic, and Mechatronic Technologies. Sourcing Strategy: Participate actively in defining optimal sourcing strategies for new product lines and services, working closely with Engineering, R&D, and other departments. Supplier Negotiation: Negotiate with suppliers from a total cost perspective, optimizing price, quality, and service levels within stable relationships. Global Strategy Development: Develop and execute global procurement strategies for programs. Supplier Management: Implement sourcing experience to identify, qualify, and develop suppliers. Cost Savings: Achieve forecasted cost savings for assigned projects and programs. Market Analysis: Conduct strategic market analysis for procurement related to assigned projects and programs. Requirements The ideal candidate should possess: Degree or Master in Engineering 3-5 years of experience in the procurement department of multinationals, focusing on complex electromechanical OEM or Tier 1 components and products Excellent knowledge of English Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Strong strategic vision Ability to work in an international environment with a global supply chain Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills Additional Information Offer includes a permanent contract. Salary and classification will be commensurate with experience (Range: €50K-€60K).
