Machine Learning Software Engineer (12-Month Contract, Inside IR35) Hybrid – London / Remote Inside IR35 – Rate circa £600-650 per day 12 Months contract La Fosse is partnered with a global, leading entertainment organisation seeking a Machine Learning Software Engineer to join their cutting-edge Music & Audio Machine Learning Lab. This role is ideal for an experienced engineer passionate about AI/ML in creative applications. You'll contribute to the full lifecycle of innovative ML tools, from research and prototyping to deployment, in a fast-paced and collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop AI/ML-driven software products for music and audio applications Build infrastructure to support ML pipelines and full lifecycle development Work with modern cloud technologies and large-scale data environments Collaborate closely with a dynamic team of engineers and stakeholders Technical Skills & Requirements: 5 years of professional experience in software engineering Strong proficiency in Python and one additional language (e.g. C++, Java, Scala) Experience with ML frameworks (e.g. PyTorch, TensorFlow), and scientific libraries (NumPy, SciPy, scikit-learn) Familiarity with audio data (or video), able to handle large binary files Proven experience in at least one of: ML model deployment, ML Ops, AI agents, or LLM integration Expertise in Linux, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, etc.) Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control best practices Ability to write clean, efficient, and reusable code Strong communication and collaboration skills Desirable: Experience with LLM tools (e.g. LangChain) Background in ML Ops, serverless/containerised infrastructures (e.g. Kubernetes, SageMaker) Send across your latest CV to apply!
