Mechanical Design Engineer

JOB- Mechanical Design Engineer LOCATION- Crawley TERM- Permanent SALARY- £35,000 to £45,000 per annum (dependent on experience) Premier Engineering is currently working with a well-established engineering company based in Crawley who are looking to expand their design team. They are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to work on a range of bespoke and high-precision equipment. The Mechanical Design Engineer will ideally have the following attributes: A degree or HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering or a similar discipline Experience in mechanical design , ideally with bespoke machinery, automation, or special purpose equipment Strong 3D CAD skills (e.g., SolidWorks, Inventor, Creo) Good understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and design for manufacture (DFM) Ability to produce detailed engineering drawings and documentation Strong problem-solving abilities and communication skills Comfortable working both independently and within a collaborative team The Mechanical Design Engineer role will involve: Designing mechanical components and assemblies from concept through to production Creating and updating 3D models and 2D drawings Working closely with production and project teams to ensure accurate design execution Participating in design reviews and product development meetings Supporting prototyping and testing activities Assisting in continuous improvement initiatives across the design function If you are a Mechanical Design Engineer based near Crawley and looking for a new opportunity, please apply with your latest CV, along with your availability and salary expectations.
