Senior Quantity Surveyor

Senior Quantity Surveyor New Build Mixed Used Scheme £50million Commercial Space Our Client are a leading tier one contractor who have been awarded a multi million new build commercial project in Surrey and are looking to hire a Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead the project with a QS reporting into you. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and manage project budgets, cost plans, and financial forecasts. Oversee procurement and negotiation with subcontractors and suppliers. Conduct valuations, variations, and final accounts. Provide cost reporting and risk assessments to senior management. Work closely with project teams to ensure financial efficiency. Ensure compliance with contractual and legal obligations. Mentor and support junior members of the commercial team. Requirements: Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field. Strong experience in quantity surveying within new build projects for a main contractor Strong knowledge of JCT and NEC contracts. Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills. Proficiency in cost management software and Microsoft Office.
