Software Development Team Lead

Halian Technologies are hiring on behalf of our fast-growing technology client that is looking for a Software Development Leader to guide a dynamic and collaborative development team. This is a leadership role that's ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex technical problems and leading others to success. You’ll be leading software engineers through the full product lifecycle using Agile methodologies. This is a varied role where you’ll split your time between people leadership, scrum mastering, and active development using C#/.NET technologies. Key Responsibilities: Line manage, mentor, and support a team of developers Lead sprint ceremonies: standups, planning, retrospectives, and refinement Remove blockers and drive team progress in an Agile environment Hands-on coding: design, develop, test, and refactor applications Collaborate with Product Owners to align priorities and deliverables Maintain code quality through peer reviews and technical leadership Become a subject matter expert in key system areas Required Experience: 5 years of experience in software application development Strong expertise in C#, .NET, and .NET Core Solid experience with Microsoft SQL Server Skilled in using Visual Studio and Git/SVN for version control Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline Personal Attributes: Strong communicator and team motivator Logical, analytical, and methodical approach Calm under pressure with high attention to detail Passionate about both people leadership and technical delivery Please note: candidates must have the right to live and work in the UK to be considered.
