Senior Mechanical Engineer – Healthcare Full-time | Permanent, Hybrid Location: London, ON (Also hiring in Kitchener & Kingston) Salary: 100-130k Perks & Benefits: Competitive salary based on experience Comprehensive benefits package for you and your family , RRSP 2.5% Performance-based incentive compensation Opportunities for professional growth, leadership, and mentorship Mileage reimbursement Profit Sharing and bonus plan Free weeks off (Christmas to New year's holiday week) Paid day off for your birthday Key Responsibilities: Lead and review mechanical design projects from concept to completion Review and stamp projects of varying complexity and size Qualifications: P.Eng. license in Ontario Minimum 10 years of mechanical engineering experience in building construction (with at least 5 years in Canada) Proven experience with central plant systems (hot water, steam, chilled water) In-depth understanding of DDC systems, including writing sequences of operations and troubleshooting on-site Strong knowledge of CSA Z317 standards for healthcare facilities Project experience across various sectors such as healthcare, industrial, commercial, institutional, or residential Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities Collaborative mindset with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities Guide mechanical design strategies on large-scale healthcare projects Conduct site investigations, audits, and feasibility studies with accompanying reports Collaborate with project teams during construction and post-construction services Support the evolution and standardization of mechanical design best practices Mentor and support the development of junior and intermediate engineers and designers
