Finance Manager

Job Title: Finance Manager (Permanent) Location: Parklands, South Africa Company: Prestigious School Job Summary: Hire Resolve's client is seeking a skilled and experienced Finance Manager to join their team at a Prestigious School in Cape Town. The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities of the company, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and analysis. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and manage the schools annual budget Monitor and report on income, expenditure, and cash flow Ensure compliance with financial regulations and policies Oversee payroll, supplier payments, and school fees collection Manage financial audits and liaise with auditors Maintain accurate financial records and reporting systems Advise school leadership on financial planning and sustainability Supervise finance/admin staff (if applicable) Requirements: 35 years of experience in a similar finance role Experience managing 23 staff members Knowledge of payroll, VAT, PAYE, and related functions Experience with cash flow, reporting, and budgeting Accounting diploma or degree (CA(SA) or articles not required) Familiarity with EdAdmin (preferred), Sage, and general banking software Strong candidates from either school or corporate backgrounds considered Female candidates preferred, but strong male candidates also welcomed Ideally in early 40s, but open to all ages Must be able to work onsite in Parklands, Cape Town Available to start ASAP If you are a motivated and skilled Finance Manager with a passion for the finanace industry, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
