AMD together we advance THE ROLE: We are looking for an adaptive, self-motivated design verification engineer to join our growing team. As a key contributor, you will be part of a leading team to drive and improve AMD's abilities to deliver high-quality, industry-leading technologies to market. The Verification Engineering team fosters continuous technical innovation and supports career development. THE PERSON: You have a passion for modern, complex processor architecture, digital design, and verification. You are a team player with excellent communication skills and experience collaborating across different sites and time zones. You possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills and are eager to learn and tackle challenges. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop and maintain tests for functional and performance verification at the core level. Build testbench components to support next-generation IP. Maintain and improve current test libraries for IP-level testing. Create hardware emulation builds to verify IP functionality. Maintain and enhance the hardware emulation environment to improve runtime performance and debugging capabilities. Provide technical support to other teams. PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Proficiency in C/C++. Familiarity with SystemVerilog and modern verification libraries like UVM. Experience or background in Computing or Graphics is a benefit. Experience with OpenGL, OpenCL, or D3D programming is a benefit. ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
