Director/Associate, Mechanical Engineering (Engineering Consultancy)

Bayes is representing an international Engineering Consultancy on an Director, Mechanical Engineering mandate (The role is available as a Director, Associate Director or Senior Associate depending on the incumbent's present experience and seniority) Design Leadership: Lead and oversee the detailed design and construction supervision of mechanical systems for high-profile Building & Property Portfolio, ensuring innovative and efficient solutions. Project Delivery Excellence: Play a key role in driving projects to successful completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and client satisfaction. Technical Expertise: Contribute to technical reviews, providing valuable insights and ensuring the highest level of technical quality across all project deliverables. Client Engagement: Build strong relationships with clients by understanding their needs, providing tailored design solutions, and presenting innovative concepts that exceed expectations. Sustainability Focus: Champion sustainable design practices in mechanical systems, integrating energy-efficient solutions that align with both client goals and industry sustainability standards. Collaboration and Teamwork: Foster a collaborative working environment by coordinating with engineers, designers, and project teams, ensuring seamless integration and project success. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations, maintaining the highest level of safety, functionality, and environmental responsibility. Requirements Hold a Professional Engineers Board (Singapore) practicing certificate and a recognized degree in Mechanical Engineering, showcasing your expertise and commitment to excellence. Bring at least 10 years of experience in building mechanical services design and execution, having worked on high-profile projects with a strong consultancy background. Demonstrate relevant experience across one-of, or related, Building, Commercial, Property, and Institutional Projects Possess comprehensive knowledge of Singapore's building standards, with direct experience as a Qualified Person (QP), Project Director (PD), and Project Manager (PM) on complex projects.
