Job Description
What the role is: To supervise the teams in the planning, formulation, review and implementation of healthcare infrastructure and its policies to ensure sufficient quality public healthcare infrastructure to all Singaporeans.You will be working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment that would require the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders at the same time. What you will be working on: • Lead and supervise the teams in setting the overall healthcare infrastructure strategy, determine need for new developments, establish space and cost planning norms and evaluate hospital and user requests.• Supervise the teams in safeguarding appropriate sites for new healthcare developments, source appropriate development funding arrangement to support approved projects, oversee implementation of infrastructure projects and represent MOH in hospital planning committees to ensure projects are completed on time, budget and quality.• Supervise the teams to evaluate project proposals on Minor Development, Repair and Replacement Works and Addition and Alteration Works from the Clusters.• Maintain oversight of the Division’s budget management, accounting and reporting of development projects in progress and fixed assets, and any audit matters.
