Senior Software Engineer – Automation Equipment (East/Up to $7k) (ID: 674438)

Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and implement handler software solutions for semiconductor equipment. Collaborate closely with hardware engineers to ensure seamless software-hardware integration. Develop and maintain a microservices architecture to support modular and scalable software solutions. Implement multi-threaded and multi-process applications to optimize system performance. Design and implement communication protocols (e.g., Serial Port, TCP, UDP) for effective device interaction. Write efficient T-SQL scripts and manage databases such as MySQL, MS SQL, and PostgreSQL. Ensure accurate and real-time data exchange between PC and PLC systems. Participate in code reviews and contribute to the team’s software development best practices. Troubleshoot and resolve software issues in a timely manner. Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies relevant to semiconductor equipment. Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline. At least 5 years of relevant experience in software development; experience in the semiconductor industry is advantageous. Proficiency in C# and the .NET framework, along with strong programming skills in C++. Experience with multi-threaded and multi-process programming paradigms. Familiarity with communication protocol programming (Serial Port, TCP, UDP). Strong skills in T-SQL scripting and experience with database systems such as MySQL, MS SQL, and PostgreSQL. Understanding of PC and PLC data interaction methodologies. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
