Procurement Manager

Position Summary Main responsibilities Proactively manage the team, define and ensure development plans in all aspects. Work with suppliers to secure timely delivery of materials and resolve issues related to supplier performance, such as quality problems. Coordinate with other departments and project managers on supplier development projects (e.g., phase in/phase out, logistics agreements, potential disruptions to freight traffic) and resolve roadblocks. Manage inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstocking. Analyze demand forecasts to anticipate material needs and adjust inventory accordingly. Track and manage the movement of materials from suppliers to production. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize material flow and reduce costs. Job Position Requirements Education: University bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Management Engineering. Bachelor’s degree in Management or a relevant field. Fluent in Italian and English (written and spoken daily). Knowledge of MS Office. Knowledge of Supply Chain management. Strong organizational skills. Outstanding problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills. Demonstrated leadership qualities. Considered a plus: 3 years of experience as a Material Planner or in a higher position in a manufacturing company.
