Why This Role Is Right for You As a Data & Performance Management Senior Specialist , you’ll join a collaborative and forward-thinking team based in Milan. You will support the implementation and improvement of operational cost processes across regional Operations teams. We’re looking for someone with a strong understanding of cost monitoring processes, who can collaborate closely with both Operations and Finance teams to ensure financial goals align with operational objectives. About Your Future Role In this position, you will: Ensure accurate and timely monthly reporting of operational financial performance, in compliance with policies and procedures. Monitor business performance, comparing actual results with budgets and forecasts. Analyze volumes and unit costs, identify variances, and propose corrective actions. Support the definition and tracking of KPIs and other performance metrics. Provide ad-hoc financial analysis to senior management to support strategic decisions. Process large datasets, create forecasting models and dashboards for reporting using tools like Excel or PowerBI and other data analysis software. Here’s what we look for: Essential Qualifications: At least 5 years of experience with monthly closing, budgeting, and forecasting processes, preferably in structured corporate environments. Proficiency in data analysis tools and languages such as Excel, SQL, Power BI, or other BI software. Experience with financial modeling and forecasting techniques. Ability to analyze volumes, unit costs, and KPIs to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. Strong collaboration skills and ability to interact effectively across multiple business functions. Proficiency in English (intermediate to advanced level). Bonus Skills: Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence techniques applied to data analysis. Previous experience in Operations departments. Knowledge of SAP ERP.
