The Delivery Lead / Delivery Manager in the Fulfilment Team will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of projects within an agile environment, focusing on order management systems (OMS) such as IBM Sterling. This role involves coordinating with cross-functional teams, managing project timelines, and ensuring that deliverables meet business objectives and quality standards. The Delivery Lead will also drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance team performance and project outcomes. As a Delivery Lead, you will: Lead and manage the delivery of projects within the Fulfilment Team, ensuring alignment with business goals and timelines. Coordinate with cross-functional teams including developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure successful project execution. Oversee the implementation and integration of OMS technologies, particularly IBM Sterling. Facilitate agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure timely delivery. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance team performance and project outcomes. Ensure that deliverables meet quality standards and business requirements. Provide leadership and guidance to team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. THE STUFF THAT SETS YOU APART Must-Have Experience & Skills: Proven experience as a Delivery Lead or similar role in an agile delivery environment. Strong knowledge of order management systems (OMS) technologies, particularly IBM Sterling. Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong understanding of agile methodologies and practices. Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively manage cross-functional teams. Ability to identify and mitigate project risks and issues. Leadership skills to guide and mentor team members People Management / Leadership experience of minimum 2 years Technical Skills: Proficiency in OMS technologies such as IBM Sterling. Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence). Experience with project management tools and software. Understanding of integration technologies and APIs. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools. Soft Skills: Communication: Clearly articulating project goals, progress, and challenges to stakeholders. Leadership: Guiding and motivating team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment. Adaptability: Being flexible and open to changes in a dynamic, agile environment. Problem-solving: Approaching challenges with a solution-oriented mindset. Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in project planning and execution. Time Management: Prioritising tasks and managing time efficiently to meet project deadlines. Empathy: Understanding team dynamics and individual needs to support effective collaboration. Continuous Learning: Staying updated with the latest industry trends and project management practices. Strategic Thinking: Aligning project delivery efforts with organisational goals and objectives. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Marketing Technology, or related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster, PMI-ACP, SAFe Agilist) are a plus. Nice to Have Skills: Experience in the retail industry, particularly within a global context. Knowledge of marketing technology principles and practices.
