Job Description

The Sr. Business Analyst will play a crucial role in analysing and documenting business requirements for in-store retail commerce technology projects, such as Oracle POS, Microsoft POS, or equivalent systems. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure business needs are accurately captured and communicated, aligning retail commerce systems with business objectives and user needs. The analyst will also identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency in a fast-paced, global fashion retail environment. As a Business Analyst, you will: Analyse and document business requirements for in-store retail commerce technology projects, such as Oracle POS, Microsoft POS, or equivalent systems, using Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban). Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, UX/UI designers, and stakeholders to ensure business needs are accurately captured and communicated. Support project timelines by identifying and mitigating risks and resolving requirements-related bottlenecks. Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for process optimization and efficiency within retail commerce systems. Utilize data-driven insights to inform strategic decisions and demonstrate the impact of business analysis on retail operations. Foster a culture of collaboration, agility, and innovation. THE STUFF THAT SETS YOU APART Must-Have Experience: Proficiency in analyzing and documenting requirements for retail commerce technologies such as Microsoft POS Proficiency in Dynamics 365 in relation to POS activation Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) Strong understanding of retail operations and in-store processes Ability to create detailed business requirement documents and functional specifications Familiarity with data analysis tools and techniques Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams Knowledge of project management tools and techniques Ability to identify and mitigate risks related to retail commerce technology projects Experience with process optimization and efficiency improvement initiatives Soft Skills: Communication : Clearly articulating business requirements and collaborating with team members and stakeholders. Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster, PMI-ACP, SAFe Agilist) are a plus. Nice to Have: Experience in the retail industry, particularly within a global context. Proven track record of collaborating cross-functional technology teams in front-end development or customer experience projects. Experience in analysing and mapping customer journeys, and familiarity with digital marketing tools.
