Senior Java (DevOps)

About the Role We’re seeking a Senior Developer Experience Engineer to join our DevSecOps team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for empowering our product teams to efficiently build and deliver high-quality code to production, while improving our security posture. You will play a crucial role in building and maintaining scalable, reliable platforms and automated CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Java, Terraform, and AWS. Your work will directly contribute to the reliability, performance, and scalability of the rest of the engineering organization. Key Responsibilities • Build, maintain, and optimize CI pipelines for performance and reliability • Collaborate with development teams to streamline delivery processes and promote DevOps best practices • Automate infrastructure configuration, provisioning, and deployment • Drive security, compliance, and cost optimization initiatives • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for development processes and tools • Provide support to developers, serving as a technical resource and advocate Requirements • 6 years of experience in a software development, DevOps, or similar technical roles • Hands-on experience with containerization and cloud infrastructure • Excellent communications skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly • Familiarity with backed and frontend tech stacks • Knowledge of security best practices in software development • Experience creating technical documentation that is clear, concise, and helpful • Proficient in monitoring, logging, and alerting tools • Experience with version control and collaborative pull-request workflows Preferred Qualifications • Hands-on experience with o Jenkins o Java o Groovy o Kubernetes o AWS o Node o JavaScript o Git • Understanding of SRE principles and SLAs/SLOs
