Job Description Job Description POSITION TYPE: Registered Nurse (RN) Manager FSED, Days SPECIALTY UNIT: Clinical Manager of Emergency Services LOCATION: Roanoke, VA 2 Main ED openings (1) Days 7am-7pm and (1) Evenings 3pm-11pm 1 Free Standing ED opening Days 7am-7pm Sign on bonus $15,000 offered JOB TYPE: Full-Time Permanent Position Summary: As the Clinical Manager of Emergency Services, you will assure service, growth, development, resource allocation and management controls are in order to ensure consistent high-quality patient care in the Emergency Department. Responsibilities: Administrative and operational responsibility for assigned departments, including management of cost and finance, human resources, operations, quality of care and clinical outcomes, patient / physician, and staff satisfaction, change management and any other relevant responsibilities related to this position. Serves as part of the entity management team focused on promoting the mission, vision, and values, embracing a person-centered philosophy while promoting patient - family centered services across the continuum and enhancing value-driven outcomes. Responsible for succession planning, identifying talent, providing support, education, and resources to grow future nursing leaders. May be required to assists in staffing as necessary to provide clinical care for adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. Graduate of a nursing program. Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) required. Advanced certification in field of specialty. Three (3) years of nursing experience in a hospital (inpatient roles) or clinical (outpatient roles) setting, including at least (3) years of relevant leadership experience required in an acute care setting.
