Travel Nurse RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit - $1,955 per week

PHP is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Charlotte, North Carolina. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 06/30/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Minimum Years of Experience required? 2 years RN exp in ICU (Resource Team) o Will you accept a first-time traveler? Not preferred but will consider (Resource Team) ? Patient Types/Common Diagnoses: o Stroke, Heart Failure, Chest pain, Respiratory illness, Surgical and Trauma, SCI, Respiratory Failure patients requiring high flow oxygen or ventilator, DSD, patient requiring fluid resuscitation/blood products, COPD, ETOH/CIWA, IVDA, Respiratory illnesses, GI Disorders and infections, Liver Failure, AKI/CKD ? Patient Ratios: o RN: 1:2-3 ? Required License, National Certification, Certs (BLS, ACLS, etc.), or other position specific requirements such as Driver's License and/or Insurance: o BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (Resource Team requirement) ? Skills required: o Will require ICU background but comfortability to work PCU, as this is a high acuity Stepdown that resembles a low acuity STICU with ratios of 1:2-3. o Endotool and insulin drip, vasoactive drips for bedside procedure and recovery, cardiac and Precedex drips, chest tubes, ventilator, monitoring patients on DSD, continuous BiPAP or CPAP o General RN skillset: Stroke experience, cardiac rhythm interpretation, trach care, PIV starts, chest tube management, NGT placement, drain/tube management (Dobhoff, PEG tubes, Hemovac, JP drains, flexiseals, foley insertion/management, etc), PCA pumps o Medication gtt management to include: Vasoactive drips, Precedex, Cardiac drips, Heparin, blood products, IVF 439184 About PHP At PHP, you are always the first focus!
