CNC Machinist (Setter/Operator) Location : Colchester Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Salary: £12.50 - £16.50 per hour depending on experience (plus £1.50/hr shift premium for late shift) Hours: Monday to Friday - 40 hours/week Are you a skilled CNC Machinist ready to take your career to the next level? What You’ll Be Doing: Setting up and operating CNC machines for a range of complex components Reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints with confidence Monitoring machining operations to ensure consistent production to spec Inspecting completed parts for quality, accuracy, and tolerance Collaborating with the Inspection team to ensure dimensional precision What You’ll Bring: Proven experience as a CNC Operator/Setter—experience with castings is a big plus Strong ability to read engineering drawings and production documentation Familiarity with CNC programming logic— Fanuc control experience preferred A proactive, detail-focused mindset and a drive for quality workmanship Your Career Path: Start on our day shift as you get up to speed with our machines, products, and team.
