Accountant – Record to Report | Global Business Basingstoke (Hybrid Working) Up to £50,000 Benefits Are you an experienced and qualified (or exam-qualified) accountant looking to join a high-performing global finance team? We’re partnering with a leading international business to find an Accountant to join their Record to Report (R2R) function, based in Basingstoke . In this role, you'll ensure the accurate and timely completion of month-end activities, maintain robust financial controls, and play a key role in improving processes and supporting continuous transformation. You’ll collaborate with finance teams across regions and become a reliable point of contact for stakeholders and leadership. What you’ll be doing: Deliver timely and accurate financial reporting across international entities Supervise month-end close processes, ensuring compliance and consistency Manage balance sheet reconciliations and contribute to the audit process Support the Finance Manager and assist in driving operational efficiency Collaborate with wider teams across the finance hub to streamline R2R processes Identify and implement improvements in systems and ways of working Act as a subject matter expert, supporting junior team members when needed What we’re looking for: Fully qualified or exam-qualified (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) Strong technical accounting knowledge and practical experience with financial close Proven track record in financial analysis, reporting, and audit support Experience working in a shared service or international finance environment Proactive mindset with a continuous improvement approach Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and support teams Confident working with senior stakeholders and managing multiple priorities What’s on offer: Salary up to £50,000 Hybrid working with flexibility Exposure to a global finance function Opportunities to lead on process improvement projects Supportive, inclusive, and development-focused culture Apply now or reach out for a confidential chat : Venture Recruitment Partners (also trading as Chilworth Partnership Ltd) is a Recruitment Agency.
