Location: Field-based | Covering UK Salary: Circa £95,000 Basic Car/Allowance Bonus Excellent Benefits Contract Type: Permanent | Full-Time | Flexible First Working Lead the Future of Smart, Sustainable Buildings We're proud to be partnering with one of the UK's leading innovators in smart building technology to appoint a SaaS Smart Projects Business Manager - a strategic leadership role at the forefront of intelligent, LoRaWAN energy-efficient infrastructure.This is a rare opportunity to take full P&L ownership of major projects ,overseeing complex programmes across the UK. You'll play a pivotal role in shaping some of the nation's most iconic smart developments, driving the transition to sustainable, data-led building environments.From optimising performance and user comfort to supporting net zero ambitions, you'll be part of a forward-thinking business that's setting new standards in the built environment. The Role This is a high-impact role suited to a commercially driven leader with a passion for smart sensor technologies and large-scale project delivery.You will be responsible for: Developing and delivering the major projects strategy in collaboration with the SLT. Leading and motivating a skilled engineering and delivery team to achieve excellence in performance, quality, and client satisfaction. Partnering with the sales function to grow market share within the UK's new-build construction sector. Managing forecasting, budgeting, and resource planning to ensure strong financial and operational outcomes. Building and nurturing long-term client relationships while ensuring best-in-class project execution and governance. About You We're looking for a confident and strategic IoT SaaS leader with deep expertise in project and operational management - ideally within Smart Buildings , BEMS , LoRaWAN or the wider building technology space.You will bring: A strong track record of SaaS software sales leadership in the construction, energy, or building controls sector. Proven experience delivering major projects, with an ability to drive commercial performance and operational efficiency. Sharp business acumen with an analytical mindset and clear understanding of P&L, forecasting, and KPIs. Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams. A full UK driving licence and the flexibility to travel across sites nationwide. Why Join?
