Finance Manager

Are you a qualified Finance Manager who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on role and values flexibility? We’re looking for an experienced and driven professional to join a growing finance team in a fully remote position. The team all meet up once a week in Surrey, so ideally someone based in Surrey, Sussex or Hampshire who enjoys the balance of autonomy and collaboration. What’s in it for you Salary between £55,000 to £60,000 per annum 20% bonus Fully remote working with weekly in-person team collaboration in Surrey 25 days holiday plus bank holidays Involvement in exciting strategic projects including ERP implementation, sustainability reporting and labour productivity analysis The role Reporting directly to the Finance Director, this is a key role within a high-performing finance function. You’ll take full ownership of financial control and reporting for three entities across the UK and Ireland, while also managing a small team and overseeing payroll functions for both head office and wider operations. Your focus will span: Monthly management accounts and budgeting Balance sheet reconciliations and statutory accounts UK and Irish VAT compliance and ONS reporting Overseeing Payroll for head office and coordination with an outsourced provider for wider teams Supporting ERP rollout and driving data-led decisions on labour productivity What we’re looking for A confident qualified accountant with strong Excel and Xero experience would be an advantage Hands-on financial control and payroll exposure A collaborative mindset and strong attention to detail Experience in ERP implementation is highly desirable Ideally based in Surrey, Sussex or Hampshire for ease of weekly collaboration Anyone on shorter notice would be an advantage This is more than just a finance role – it’s a chance to make an impact, work flexibly, and contribute to a growing organisation’s strategic direction.
