Technical Manager

We are currently looking for a Technical Manager based in Kent - this role requires someone with experience working within civils, utilities or drainage. Initial contract basis for 6 months. Key Responsibilities: Project Oversight : Manage the design and technical aspects civils and drainage surrounding a residential development from land acquisition through to completion. Team Leadership : Lead and coordinate a team of technical coordinators, engineers, and external consultants. Design Management : Oversee the preparation and approval of architectural and engineering designs, ensuring compliance with regulations and company standards. Stakeholder Collaboration : Liaise with planning authorities, utility providers, and internal departments (e.g., commercial, construction, and sales). Problem Solving : Resolve technical challenges and ensure timely delivery of design information to support build programs. Skills & Qualifications Strong background in architecture, civil engineering, or construction-related disciplines. Proven experience in civils, infrastructure, utilities or drainage, ideally within a housebuilding / residential environment. Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills. Ability to interpret technical drawings and planning documents. Familiarity with UK building regulations and planning processes Please apply as we are looking to fill this role ASAP.
