Network Architect - DV Clearance

A major organisation in the global information and communications technology sector are currently seeking a Network Architect, you will play a crucial role in providing varied and complex technical support activities as part of project deployment. This includes installation, troubleshooting, problem resolution, and maintenance. You will also advise project SMEs on preventive maintenance and configuration adjustments to enhance product performance and customer satisfaction. This is an initial 6-month contract position (inside IR35) the successful candidate will require DV Clearance already. This role will be located in Basingstoke and will be based on site due to the nature of the end client being in the defence and security sector. Key Accountabilities: Project Work: Implement medium to large infrastructures within timescale estimates, identifying and mitigating risks. Work within a technical framework to meet customer requirements on larger projects. Technical Capability: Utilize in-depth product knowledge to implement technical best practices within a team, without supervision. Service Level: Manage systems within SLA, propose and implement improvements to meet service level requirements. Problem Solving: Take ownership of diagnosing and resolving problems, engaging with third parties to jointly resolve in-depth product issues when necessary. Professional Development: Stay updated with new products, tools, and techniques, encouraging their use within the business to promote continuous improvement. Your Experience: Experience with either Juniper or Cisco network equipment. Proven ability to independently implement LAN networks and infrastructure patching following design specifications, including site LAN design and implementation in accordance with JSP 604. Experience with the ECR process, creation of as-fitted packs, and sign-off, working with Customer Authorities.
