Site Assistant – Full Time, Permanent Location: NewburySalary: Grade C £24,405 to £25,430 per annum FTE52 weeks per year, Monday to FridayStart Date: ASAPRole Perks: 52 weeks per annum, Permanent role, ASAP start, beautiful surroundings, overtime available Daily expectations of the role: To work under the direction of the Site Manager To be responsible for the general maintenance, cleanliness and security of the school and to ensure health and safety is adhered to To be responsible for security and arrangements for access to contractors and external workers Reporting any issues and building defects to the Site Manager, county or contractors where necessary To carry out minor maintenance and repairs where required Responsible for ensuring the supply of soap, toilet rolls, paper towels and other essentials to cleaners as required To open and lock up premises, monitoring of grounds and responding to intruder alarms where required Ensure that all paperwork is properly filed and recorded in the absence of the Site Manager School Overview We encourage our students to be ambitious and expect them to give their best in all that they do.
