Job Description
We're Hiring: SSIS Expert / Integrations Engineer Location: Leatherhead (Hybrid) | Type: Full-Time Are you an SSIS expert looking for a high-impact role where your skills will directly drive the success of business-critical systems? We’re looking for a skilled Integrations Engineer to lead the development, support, and optimisation of enterprise-wide data integration solutions—and to act as a trusted deputy to the Integration Manager . About the Role You’ll take ownership of maintaining and improving integration pipelines, proactively resolving issues, and leading design and development initiatives using SSIS and Azure Data Factory . You'll also be the technical point of contact across multiple teams and act as 3rd line support for escalated incidents. What You'll Do ✅ Configure and manage SSIS integrations, ensuring accurate and secure data transfers ✅ Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve integration issues, managing a ticket queue (e.g., via ServiceNow) ✅ Lead the design of new and existing data pipelines, adhering to change control processes ✅ Collaborate with stakeholders—including BAs, PMs, Architects, and Infrastructure teams ✅ Deputise for the Integration Manager during technical meetings, escalations, or design reviews ✅ Ensure integrations are secure, compliant, and well-documented What We’re Looking For Deep experience with SSIS and SQL Server in an enterprise environment Strong proficiency in T-SQL , stored procedures, and complex ETL logic Familiar with Azure Integration Services (e.g., Logic Apps, ADF, Service Bus, Functions) Comfortable working with Git , Azure DevOps , and unit testing practices Knowledge of common data formats: CSV, JSON, XML, Parquet Ability to lead integration designs with minimal rework required Preferred Qualifications Certification in SSIS or relevant Microsoft technologies Proven track record of delivering robust integration solutions Key Skills & Traits Clear and confident communicator across technical and non-technical teams Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and performance Excellent problem-solving, time management, and documentation skills Able to juggle multiple integration workflows and priorities Strong sense of ownership and a passion for continuous improvement Why This Role?
