Mechanical Engineer

PE Global is recruiting a Mechanical Engineer for our industrial manufacturing client based in Peterborough. The role is an initial 12 months contract. The rate for this role is £22.51 PAYE or £30.55 Umbrella p/h. Responsibilities: Create detailed test planning, execution of testing activities, analysis of results, and documentation with clear recommendations for the relevant process partners. Carry out complex engine validation tests Evaluate products and processes; perform needs analysis and initiate ideas Keep up to date on new technologies or develop new technologies Communicate technical information to a range of stakeholders Support and advise other engineers, managers, marketing personnel, dealers, customers, and suppliers; develop and maintain keen understanding of internal and external customers’ need Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in an accredited Engineering curriculum Experience in validation of engines and engine systems Experienced in the use of testbed software, calibration tools, emissions measuring equipment and test data logging systems. Hands on engine testing and problem-solving experience. Previous leadership experience (direct or in-direct) Knowledge of Project Management methods and processes Please note PE Global cannot assist with visa sponsorship.
