Corporate/Commercial Counsel - Litigation Fund

Our client: S&H have been exclusively instructed by a boutique financial services firm on a broad Corporate/Commercial Counsel position, reporting to and working closely with the General Counsel on a wide range of matters. You will ideally have had private practice training in a city law firm and have a broad range of corporate and commercial experience and an ability to quickly understand and assess new and complex projects with unfamiliar subject matter. The role requires a combination of excellence in both legal and strategic analysis and commercial awareness. Key responsibilities: Working directly with the General Counsel across a range of legal and commercial matters Corporate governance and structures Regulatory matters Commercial contracts Employment issues Intellectual Property Will involve engaging in a wide range of commercial and in-house projects Experience requirements: Post qualification experience of 1 - 3 years Be admitted in England & Wales or another common law jurisdiction Have the right to live and work independently in the UK FS experience in private practice is not essential. Would need relevant experience in the dynamic parts of the private sector, e.g., a broad-based corporate team In-house experience, especially in an FS business, would be useful, especially in a smaller/newer business Due to the high volume of applications, if you haven’t heard back from the team on this role, unfortunately your application has been unsuccessful.
