Mainframe Developer

Key Responsibilities: Development & Maintenance: Development: Developing and modifying mainframe applications, often using COBOL, JCL, and DB2. Testing: Writing and executing unit tests and integration plans to ensure applications meet specifications. Maintenance: Troubleshooting, fixing bugs, and ensuring the smooth operation of existing mainframe applications. Collaboration: Working closely with other developers, systems engineers, and business teams to gather requirements and implement solutions. Documentation: Creating technical documentation for applications and systems. Performance Tuning: Optimizing applications to improve performance and efficiency. Education: Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience.
