z/OS System Automation Analyst

Title: z/OS System Automation Analyst Duration: 6 months Contract To Perm Location: 5x a month - Downtown Toronto Required Skills & Experience • You have 5 years of extensive implementation & configuration of z/OS System Automation, running in a Parallel Sysplex Data Sharing environment. • You have good overall working knowledge of z/OS experience with a deep understanding of z/OS architecture & configuration. • Strong knowledge of ( z/OS, JES2, DB2, CICS.IMS) and their automation requirements. • You will lead trouble shooting & problem resolution activities related to z/OS Infrastructure • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members. • You will collaborate with cross functional teams (Systems Programmers & Operations) to ensure seamless integration of automation solutions. • Maintain up-to-date documentation for automation scripts and procedures. • Proven experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining automation solutions for z/OS Parallel Sysplex environments. • Excellent knowledge of IBM System Automation, NetView, GDPS automation and other relevant tools. Proficiency with scripting languages (JCL, REXX and CLIST).
