Role: Millwright Location: Halifax, NS (CANADA) - onsite 3 days a week- rotating shifts, night and day PR: $40.39/hr CAD Required Skills & Experience • 2-3 years of experience as an industrial mechanic or millwright • Valid Red Seal Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) • Experience in the industrial mechanic/millwright trade, especially in a production facility • Willingness and ability to work shift work (days and nights), optional overtime, and optional holidays Nice to Have Skills & Experience • Outstanding work ethic with exceptional discipline, attendance, and safety record • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, along with the capability to learn computer-based maintenance software (e.g., for work order scheduling). • Welding and/or machining experience is an asset. Job Description Insight Global is looking to hire a Millwright to join one of our clients, a leading brewing company in Canada. In this role, your responsibilities can be categorized into three main areas including maintenance tasks, troubleshooting and repairing, safety and compliance. • Maintenance Tasks: Perform corrective and preventative maintenance on industrial equipment in a production environment. • Troubleshooting and Repairing: Work as part of a team to troubleshoot and repair equipment, including gearboxes, pumps, and specific beer packaging and brewing equipment (e.g., bottle and can filler, bottle labeler, palletizers, depalletizers, packers, beer centrifuge). • Safety and Compliance: Follow plant safety, housekeeping, and food-production quality standards.
