Accountant - SaaS Experience | Hybrid in Guadalajara

Meztal is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant with experience in SaaS or technology industry, to join our team in Guadalajara, Mexico under a hybrid work model . This role requires fluency in both English and Spanish , as you'll collaborate closely with international and local teams. Key Responsibilities Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP standards. Support month-end close processes, including account reconciliations and general ledger entries. Analyze general ledger balances, investigate variances, and review account reconciliations. Lead daily accounting activities to ensure accurate recording of transactions under GAAP. Assist with accounts payable and receivable processes. Respond to and assist with invoice or billing inquiries. Manage credit card reconciliations. Contribute to budgeting and forecasting activities. Support business system implementation projects. Prepare schedules and supporting documentation for monthly reporting and annual audits. Manage ad hoc financial and accounting projects as needed. Requirements 3 years of relevant accounting experience. BA/BS or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Strong understanding of GAAP accounting principles and financial regulations. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets ; ability to work with large data sets. Experience with accounting software (Sage Intacct is a plus). Experience or strong interest in optimizing accounting and FP&A processes. Interest in aligning data systems and reporting platforms. Experience in SaaS or technology industry.
