We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant to work with our MezTal team. This role is ideal for professionals who have at least 1 year of experience in U.S. accounting processes, a strong command of US GAAP, and are comfortable working in English on a daily basis. Key Responsibilities: Support month-end and year-end close activities for U.S. entities. Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with US GAAP. Assist in preparing financial statements and internal reports. Perform account reconciliations (bank, intercompany, accruals, etc.). Collaborate with U.S.-based teams to support audits and reporting needs. Ensure timely and accurate processing of transactions and adjustments. Participate in continuous improvement of accounting processes. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field. 1 year of experience in accounting for U.S. entities or under U.S. standards. Solid knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting practices. Professional English communication skills. Experience with ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) is a plus. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and accountability. Availability to work hybrid from Guadalajara. Benefits Montlhy Salary: gross monthly salary of 20,000 - 25,000 MXN.
