Supply Chain Manager

Envolve Consulting, an indipendent company specialised in management search, is looking for Supply Chain Manager for prestigious fashion company. Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for the overall planning of the production, ensuring the highest level of service for the company. Responsible for the strategic development and operational management of the procurement of : a) finished product b) direct and indirect materials c) services. For the third party business model, coordinates all the communication with customers and internal dept involved; negotiates quotations and prices. Main Tasks : Liaise with Central Planning (US) to maximize the service levels for the MI production Collaborate effectively in the development of an MPS (Master Production Schedule) that balances the market requirements with the factory’s capacity Implement MI’s production planning and scheduling, through the best use of people, processes, and technology Monitor rolling capacity plans by material Manage relationship with related departments to ensure product delivery and is tracked and supported and delivery plan is in line with deadline and capacity Coordinate the procurement of finished products from third parties, whenever necessary to fulfill the market needs Develop a strategy and the operational execution for the acquisition of all direct and indirect materials, not only for the factory but for the entire company Coordinate the acquisition of services for the entire company Ensure all activities are supported by adequate contractual agreements as relevant Negotiate prices and payment terms for all products, components, materials, and services purchased Work with vendors and suppliers to balance volume, pricing and delivery time Manage the product planning process including capacity planning, design needs for our brands and materials procurement Establish and maintain productive relationships with the suppliers Identify new vendors and suppliers and make recommendations to Sr Management Required Skills Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience. Minimum of 5 additional years of experience related to functional area Minimum of 10 years of management experience with responsibilities for hiring, training, assigning work and managing performance of direct reports Proven ability to develop and execute strategies Excellent project management skills and experience managing large projects Proven track record of influencing constituents for optimal results Excellent analytical skills required Ability to write and present clear and concise reports Excellent organization skills, detail oriented and ability to multitask Flexible and able to quickly and effectively change priorities and direction Working knowledge of SAP for Supply Chain Ability to work with individuals on a global level Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills Travel domestic and international Place of work : Belluno.
