The Team & Role Complete Zuora’s onboarding and sales training to become an expert in our products, services, solutions, and technical capabilities. Own the technical relationships with a deep understanding of customer needs and constraints. Ensure the adoption and technical health of the customer. Deliver product demonstrations and technical presentations to C-Level audiences, explaining how Zuora’s platform enables business success and growth. Create use case-specific demonstrations aligned with prospects’ strategic objectives across industries. Secure technical wins by differentiating Zuora, handle objections, and mitigate concerns to close deals. Act as a liaison to our product management team, informing the product roadmap based on customer needs. Ensure customers realize value against their expectations. Define and monitor business cases and KPIs in the account plan. Contribute to shaping commercial strategies and technical action plans. Identify opportunities for expansion and new business units. Present solutions clearly and effectively. Coordinate resources across Zuora and partners from a technical perspective. Work with product and solution management to share customer insights and potential applications. Manage escalations with support from AEs and Customer Support. Request customer references after milestones, with follow-up from AEs and advocacy teams. Collaborate with solution architects on design and approach. Support sales and marketing at events with demonstrations and technical expertise. Respond to technical RFI/RFP elements. Travel within your sales territory as needed. Your Experience 6 years in Sales Engineering or related roles. Self-motivated with a desire to learn and master the quote-to-cash cycle in the Subscription Economy. Excellent presentation skills for diverse audiences. Strong experience in business value selling, SaaS, and Cloud technology. Understanding of subscription and recurring revenue models. Experience with sales methodologies like MEDDIC or Value Selling. Basic knowledge of API development and programming languages (PHP, Ruby, Java, etc.).
