Senior Technology Cluster Manager – City Venues, MICO26 - Olympic and Paralympic Games Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior Technology Cluster Manager for the city venues in Milan and Verona, Italy, to oversee technology operations for the 2026 Olympic and Paralympic Games. The role involves managing onsite technology teams, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring seamless technology deployment across multiple venues. Key Responsibilities Recruit, manage, and coordinate Venue Technology Managers across the venue cluster. Plan, design, implement, and oversee technology services for venues, including hardware, software, and network infrastructure. Develop venue technology strategies to enhance guest experience. Collaborate with venue teams, suppliers, and stakeholders to maintain schedules and meet technical requirements. Participate in shifts at the Technology Command Center during key event phases. Serve as the primary owner of all technology needs before, during, and after the Games. Provide regular updates to senior management on technology status. Support other functional areas within the venue cluster as needed. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field. At least 4 years of management experience in onsite / field technology support and project management, preferably in major sporting events or hospitality industry. Strong project management and communication skills. Experience with venue technology operations, including access control, A / V, and network infrastructure. Proficiency in IT and telecommunications systems, including Wi-Fi, network troubleshooting, and OS platforms (Windows, Mac, Android, iOS, Linux). Experience managing third-party vendors in a multi-vendor environment. Fluency in English; Italian language skills are preferred. Preferred Experience Experience in ticketing, travel, or hospitality industries. Knowledge of Audio / Visual systems and troubleshooting.
