Job Responsibilities Oversee the development of new products for each collection, including prototypes and samples, and manage technical information for all new products (LG, SLG, Belts, Jewels, etc.). Report to LG Industrial Director. Collaborate with Design and Marketing teams to define product and material requirements, manage development budgets, and ensure product margins by working with production, purchasing, and industrialization departments. Propose technical and innovative ideas to improve product quality and cost-efficiency. Develop new materials in partnership with Sourcing teams. Manage pattern-making and prototyping to meet schedules. Ensure technical data systems (BOMs, PDM) are complete for sourcing and production planning. Participate in review meetings to assess product feasibility and manufacturability. Implement development procedures and milestones, applying brand quality and aesthetic standards. Lead the daily management and development of the team, providing vision, motivation, and feedback. Organize Pattern Making and Prototyping departments, overseeing approximately 50 staff members. Additional Information Education : University degree in Economics, Engineering, Fashion, or related fields. Professional Background : Minimum 10 years in a Development Department within the Fashion Industry, with strong knowledge of products and manufacturing processes, and experience managing relationships with Design, Marketing, and Production teams. Skills : Management and organizational skills, decision-making in complex environments, agility, innovation, delegation, and team building. Languages : Fluent in Italian and English; French is a plus.
