As a Global Infrastructure Architect in IT, you will lead and manage the technical aspects of the organization’s projects and initiatives, ensuring that they align with its goals and objectives. You will lead or enable others to better plan, design, and implement complex IT infrastructure systems and services. The Infrastructure Architect plays a critical role in ensuring that technology infrastructure is robust, scalable, and resilient to meet the changing demands of end-users, business partners, and other stakeholders. YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES : Provide technical leadership : The Infrastructure Architect is responsible for providing guidance and direction to IT staff, including Infrastructure Engineers (On Prem and Cloud), System Administrators, and Network Engineers. Develop infrastructure strategy : Define and manage infrastructure technology roadmaps, select and implement new technologies, and automate IT processes. Assess technology : Lead proof of concepts to define technology direction and enable business strategy. Manage infrastructure projects : Plan and coordinate projects like data center migrations, server consolidations, and cloud migrations. Resolve technical issues : Identify root causes of incidents and guide installation, configuration, and troubleshooting. Budgeting and Vendor Management : Work with vendors for solutions, negotiate contracts, and develop budgets. Documentation : Maintain and update network diagrams, service catalogues, and change records. Operations : Oversee daily tasks to maximize resiliency, stability, and performance. Management : Manage team performance, provide feedback, and attract top IT talent. YOUR KEY COMPETENCES AND QUALIFICATIONS : Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field 10 years in infrastructure engineering or related area Strong understanding of infrastructure architecture, design, and engineering practices Experience with infrastructure-as-code and agile methodologies Expertise in at least one server OS (Windows, Linux, Unix) and networking / security technologies Experience with virtualization (e.g., VMware) Hands-on with major cloud platforms (Azure, GCP, AWS) Ability to drive technical vision and strategy Excellent communication and teamwork skills Strong problem-solving skills Knowledge of industry standards and large-scale enterprise systems Experience with ITIL frameworks Seniority level Associate Employment type Full-time Job function Information Technology Machinery Manufacturing J-18808-Ljbffr J-18808-Ljbffr
