Quality Lab Supervisor

Position Summary The primary purpose of this role is to oversee and manage laboratory operations to ensure high-quality, compliant, and efficient analytical testing, method development, and instrument maintenance. The role ensures the laboratory operates according to industry standards (ISO 17025), maintains necessary accreditation (ACCREDIA), and meets regulatory requirements relevant to the fertilizer sector and other industries. Key responsibilities include developing, validating, and standardizing analytical methods, maintaining laboratory accreditation, coordinating laboratory staff, and ensuring compliance with quality standards. The role acts as a key liaison between the laboratory and departments such as R&D, operations, regulatory, sales, and quality management. This position is crucial for ensuring accurate analytical results, supporting R&D innovation, and contributing to stakeholder relations while adhering to regulatory frameworks. The role involves hands-on execution of analytical tests, including : Supporting other departments Ensuring laboratory performance aligns with ISO 17025 Maintaining ACCREDIA accreditation Developing and validating analytical methods under new regulations Executing tests Managing analytical data Releasing certificates of analysis Coordinating laboratory technicians Analytical Methods Developing and validating methods Ensuring compliance with fertilizer sector standards Training staff Instruments Maintenance and Calibration Performing maintenance and calibration Coordinating technicians Laboratory Quality System Maintaining ISO 17025 compliance Participating in ACCREDIA audits Laboratory Commercial Relations Maintaining relations with HAS companies Providing info for invoicing analyses for HAS Qualifications include : Minimum 5 years of experience in analytical chemistry (HPLC, ICP, GC, Kjeldal analyzer) Experience with ISO 17025 and ACCREDIA standards Structured organizational experience Strong team skills Master's degree in Chemistry or Pharmaceutical Chemistry Professional qualification as a chemist Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills Interested candidates are encouraged to apply in English.
