Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Lead Architect responsible for vehicle structure and architecture—both logical and physical—which serve as the vehicle's skeleton for new development programs. The role is part of the T&D department within the Logical and Physical Vehicle Architecture Department. The Lead Architect oversees logical and physical architecture throughout project development and plays a key role at the technical table with other Product Engineering functions. The Lead Architect manages resources allocated by Logical Architecture, Vehicle Architecture, and Packaging teams to meet specific project requirements. In a cross-functional organization, the Lead Architect leads : The Logical Architecture team to ensure that low and high voltage electric systems, powertrain, and electronic devices are interconnected to form a cohesive system. The Vehicle Architecture team to physically allocate systems and components within the vehicle frame according to engineering rules and standards, ensuring proper system interactions, manufacturability, and maintainability. The Packaging team to track design modifications and technical issues during product development. Verification that all systems are installed according to the Product Breakdown Structure (PBS) and Product Configuration. The creation of a Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM) linking system requirements to architecture elements for comprehensive coverage. Requirements : Proficiency in IBM Rhapsody and SysML Strong understanding of logical and vehicle architecture design Familiarity with automotive standards and protocols (e.g., ISO 26262, CAN, LIN, Ethernet, AUTOSAR) Knowledge of vehicle systems such as ADAS, powertrain, and connectivity Global and comprehensive vision Expertise in Systems Engineering and Model-Based Systems Engineering Deep technical knowledge of the System of Interest Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Full-time Job function Engineering, Manufacturing, and Information Technology Motor Vehicle Manufacturing J-18808-Ljbffr J-18808-Ljbffr
