Chiesi Corporate Functions Global HR Global Finance, Procurement & IT Group Legal & Corporate Affairs Global Communication & External Relations Transformation Global Strategy, Sustainability and Growth (SSG) Who we are looking for Purpose Reporting to the Head of Corporate Development, the Corporate Development Manager plays a key role in scouting, assessing, and delivering projects for inorganic growth opportunities. Main Responsibilities Monitor and perform systematic landscaping of inorganic growth opportunities in specific geographies or therapeutic areas in line with corporate and GBU/Franchise strategies. Assemble business cases and lead financial modeling/valuation for all types of corporate development opportunities (e.g., M&A, divestments, out-licensing, regional deals). Generate and update deal structures and terms aligning internal and external interests. Monitor and analyze M&A trends, transaction multiples, and premiums in the healthcare industry. Work closely with Due Diligence and Alliance Management teams, providing project leadership from initial assessment to deal closure. Ensure clear communication and stakeholder involvement throughout projects, providing robust recommendations to leadership. Prepare presentations and support pitches to senior leadership for approval of inorganic growth opportunities. Build and maintain relationships with internal functions and external partners, including negotiations and contractual reviews. Facilitate handovers to the Alliance Management/Integration team pre- and post-deal. Experience Required At least 4 years of experience in M&A, corporate development, or related roles. Experience in consulting (e.g., Big Four), M&A boutiques, or healthcare industry is a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint, and financial modeling (DCF, risk-adjusted DCF). Education Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or Economics. Soft Skills Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to develop financial models. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Strong project management skills with the ability to lead international teams and manage priorities. Resilient, flexible, and proactive in learning from experiences. Languages Fluency in English mandatory; additional languages considered a plus. Location The position is based at the HQ in Parma with possibilities for flexible arrangements. J-18808-Ljbffr
