Sr. Network Engineer- Cisco Nexus and ACI

Key Responsibilities: • Design, implement, and manage enterprise-level LAN/WAN networks including routing, switching, and load balancing. • Plan and implement Cisco Nexus 5K/7K/9K switching infrastructure in data center environments. • Hands-on experience implementing and troubleshooting Cisco ACI fabric, including tenant, application profiles, bridge domains, contracts, and policies. • Maintain high availability and performance in network infrastructure supporting critical applications. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for network integration, migrations, and optimization tasks. • Provide L3 support and root cause analysis for complex network issues. • Document designs, processes, and procedures for knowledge sharing and future reference. Must-Have Skills: • Deep understanding and hands-on experience in: • Cisco ACI architecture and implementation • Cisco Nexus switches (5K/7K/9K series) • LAN/WAN technologies including routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP) • VLAN, STP, VPC, HSRP, VRF, QoS • Multicast, MPLS, IPsec, and VPNs • Experience with network monitoring tools like SolarWinds, ThousandEyes, or equivalent. • Understanding of virtualization and integration with VMware/Hyper-V environments. • Basic scripting (Python/Shell) for automation is a plus. Preferred Certifications: • CCNP Data Center or CCNP Enterprise • Cisco ACI Specialist • CCIE (nice to have)
