About The Position A hospital in New York is seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner specializing in OB/GYN for a 125-day locum tenens assignment starting 07/07/2025. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive prenatal, labor, and postpartum care, as well as conduct well-woman exams and offer contraceptive counseling. Working Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 4:30 PM in the office, the NP will also cover one weekday call per week and one weekend call per month. This role requires proficiency with Epic electronic health record system and offers the potential for extension. Job Details: Location: New York Facility Type: Hospital Start Date: 07/07/2025 LOA: 125 days Provider Type Needed: Nurse Practitioner (OB/GYN) Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 4:30 PM; 1 weekday call per week; 1 weekend call per month Responsibilities and Duties: • Provide prenatal, labor, and postpartum care • Conduct well-woman exams, including Pap smears and breast exams • Offer contraceptive counseling and management • Diagnose and treat common obstetric and gynecological conditions • Serve as first call during assigned weekday and weekend call shifts • See approximately 20 patients per day in the office setting • Utilize Epic electronic health record system for documentation • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care • Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current OB/GYN practices and treatments Additional Information: • Must be licensed to practice in New York • Experience with Epic electronic health record system required • Strong communication and interpersonal skills essential • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Comfortable managing high patient volumes and on-call responsibilities Apply now to learn more!
