Job Description Job Description Robert Half's Legal Practice is partnering with a top Litigation Law Firm in the Twin Cities in search of an exceptional Litigation Attorney to support its clients with Defense work (premises liability, personal injury etc) 1850 billable hour target. The firm primarily works in office. Some travel, 1/ night month after you ramp your practice, up on average. Manage all phases of litigation from inception through to resolution. Conduct extensive and detailed research to gather relevant information and evidence. Draft legal documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, responses, motions, briefs, reports and other related documents. Analyze legal issues connected with claims and formulates appropriate strategy for case resolution. Provide case status updates to clients and answer their queries. Conduct depositions of plaintiffs, witnesses and experts. Negotiate and approve settlements with opposing counsel. Participate in mediations. Ensure strict compliance with all legal timelines and deadlines. Continually improve knowledge on changes in all applicable federal, state, and local laws. Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Current license to practice law in MN. 2 years of experience in insurance defense litigation, with a focus on personal injury, property damage, premises liability Excellent negotiation skills. Strong research and report writing skills. Proficient with legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively. Strong adherence to ethical and confidentiality norms. Excellent client service skills and the ability to work as part of a team. Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
