Human Resources Assistant

Job Description Job Description Robert Half is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Human Resources (HR) Assistant to support a dynamic organization in Honolulu, Hawaii. The ideal candidate will assist with a variety of HR functions, including employee onboarding, maintaining personnel records, and providing support in recruitment and engagement activities. Preference will be given to applicants currently residing in Hawaii due to the nature of the job requirements. Key Responsibilities: Assist with day-to-day HR operations, such as managing employee records and updating internal databases (e.g., HRIS systems). Support recruitment efforts, including coordinating job postings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates. Facilitate onboarding processes for new hires, ensuring a positive and seamless orientation experience. Provide support in employee relations and engagement efforts, including planning events or activities to foster a positive workplace culture. Respond to employee inquiries related to HR policies, benefits information, and other human resources-related matters. Assist with compliance activities, including maintaining confidentiality and ensuring adherence to labor laws and company policies. Create and maintain accurate HR documentation, reports, and records Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is preferred. Previous administrative or HR experience is a plus but not required. Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. Familiarity with HR software and practices is advantage
