Staff Software Engineer

Job Title: Staff Software Engineer (Python Frontend) Type: Full-time About the Role We are seeking a highly experienced Staff Software Engineer with deep expertise in Python and a modern frontend framework (such as React, Vue, or Angular). In this role, you'll play a key part in designing and delivering scalable, high-performance systems that drive our core platform. Youll collaborate across teams to define technical strategy, build robust architecture, and mentor other engineers. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, problem-solving environment and wants to have a significant impact on both the product and engineering culture. What Youll Do Lead the design and development of scalable backend services using Python. Architect and implement frontend features using your preferred modern JavaScript framework (e.g., React, Vue, Angular). Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to deliver end-to-end solutions. Make high-level architectural decisions and guide technical direction. Drive best practices in code quality, testing, and performance. Mentor engineers and contribute to an inclusive and collaborative team environment. Identify opportunities for technical improvement and innovation. What Were Looking For 8 years of professional software engineering experience. Deep proficiency in Python and experience building complex backend systems (RESTful APIs, microservices, etc.). Strong command of a modern frontend framework (React preferred, but Vue or Angular is also great). Proven experience architecting and scaling web applications in production environments. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). Strong understanding of software design principles and system architecture. Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset. Experience working in cross-functional teams and mentoring other engineers. Nice to Have Experience with full CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices. Exposure to GraphQL, WebSockets, or real-time data handling.
